The Massachusetts Anti-Slavery society released its annual report for 1850 in February, 1851. Included in this report was the money paid to the American Anti-Slavery Society agent Lucy Stone. In 1832, the Massachusetts Anti-Slavery Society was founded in Boston. The American Anti-Slavery Society was founded by William Lloyd Garrison in 1833. The Gazette & Courier was the newspaper in Greenfield, Massachusetts, from July 20, 1841 until June 24, 1932. Before 1841 the newspaper's name changed quite frequently, with Gazette a frequent part of the title.
