A logical extension of the Deerfield Arts and Crafts Movement was theatrical revival. Will Hutchins, an artist and aspiring playwright spearheaded the dramas, enlisting like-minded experienced people from the community to act out the plays. The end result, though popular, drew mixed reviews.
