George Fuller, aged fifty-four, writes an affectionate letter to his wife of fifteen years. She is at home on the family farm in Deerfield, Massachusetts and he is in Boston where he has seen his paintings "find an Audience." Fuller, the artist, is reveling not only in recognition, but also in the fact that people are willing to pay for his work. He has sold four of his "pictures," and he tells his wife how gratifying it is to have found "people who think as you do in Art."
