This cornhusk bag was made as a present for Susie Walking Bear Yellowtail (1903-1981), one of the United States first Native American registered nurses. She was a member of the Class of 1927 of the Franklin County Public Hospital of Nursing in Greenfield, Massachusetts. The bag has wool embroidery, leather handles, and different Crow designs on either side. Susie Walking Bear Yellowtail carried this bag for special occasions.
